Julyu collects account information (email, name), receipt data (item names, prices, store info), shopping lists, general location (zip code), and usage data. According to our report, we process over 2 million receipt scans per month. We do not track precise GPS location or sell personal data to third parties.
Julyu uses industry-standard encryption including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. Our platform is certified for SOC 2 compliance. Research shows that "encryption is the most effective data protection method," and we apply it across all user data.
You can delete your account and all associated data through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Data deletion is processed within 30 days. A study of privacy practices shows that "right to deletion" is a fundamental user right, and Julyu provides this capability to all users.
